The holiday season is almost upon us, and Fergie stopped by the “Today Show” this morning to help unveil the new Swarovski star for the Rockefeller Christmas Tree.

The “Big Girls Don’t Cry” songstress looked to be having a marvelous time as she hammed it up with the show’s hosts, looking hot in a white and black printed dress teamed with black stockings and black heels.

And in a recent interview, Miss Ferguson revealed that she packed on some extra pounds as of late, all in the name of landing a role.

“I’ve actually gained 10 pounds. No, really – for the film, ‘Nine.’ Actually, 13 to be exact.” How did she do it? “Fish and chips. Everything fried – things I don’t normally eat.”

And now that she’s trying to lose her newfound mass, Fergie says she’ll take it easy on the holiday meals. “You can do creative things. You know turkey isn’t fattening—you can do that. A little bit of gravy—have a nice big salad.”
